Bill Rovers - "The sport of playing shuffleboard is in my
opinion the most interesting and the most rewarding of all past
time sports played today. It will give you a great way to have a
light form of exercise and make new friends. It offers everything
a person would want from a competitive and inexpensive sport activity.
Shuffleboard offers a social climate enjoyed by everyone, spectators
as well as players. All who play the game agree that shuffleboard
has added a big plus to their lives in many ways.
"So come out and bring your friends, make friends. All that
is needed from you is your presence. Instructions will be provided

Tritown (Haileybury) Shuffleboard Club
Greetings from the Tri-Town Senior Shuffleboard
Association
Our shuffleboard courts are conveniently located at Rotary Farr
Park in the former town of Haileybury, now a part the City of Temiskaming
Shores. In 1999 the afternoon curling club members, wanting a summer
activity, formed an Executive Committee and with the assistance
of an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant, constructed four shuffleboard
courts.
Subsequently an additional Trillium grant allowed erection of sun
shades and in 2005 the Tri-Town Foundation provided a grant toward
providing wind screening around the courts. We are now protected
from the hot summer sun and the cold winds of spring and fall. We
have a wheel chair accessible facility with scheduled play on Monday
and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
at 1:30 PM Members have key access and can play any time, at their
choosing.
Please come and join us if you are in the North Eastern Ontario
area.
